Tonight's History sleep story follows an innkeeper through his final rounds after the last travelers have gone up to bed; banking the fire, checking on the horses in the stable, wiping down the tables, and bolting the heavy doors against the storm, before he climbs to his own warm bed.

Set along a quiet country road in Medieval England 1410, this story blends simple historical details with the steady patter of rain sounds and distant thunder, perfect for anyone who finds comfort in slow, atmospheric storytelling.

As always, this is narrated by a real human voice, no AI, recorded specifically to help you unwind and fall asleep naturally.
