A proposito di questo titolo

A Bite-Sized Blueprint for Creative Freelancers Who Want to Ditch the Hustle and Build a Business That Pays Well, Feels Good, and Actually Works You didn’t leave your 9–5 to be glued to your laptop at midnight, chasing late invoices and wondering if the barista job you had in your teens might actually be less stressful. You went freelance for freedom—but what you got was a feast-or-famine cycle, unpredictable income, and a calendar full of demanding clients who treat you like an employee instead of the expert you are. Sound familiar? You’re not broken. And you’re not alone. You’re just stuck in what I call the 5-Figure Freelancer Trap. And this podcast? It’s the roadmap out. Welcome to The Six-Figure Freelancer Recipe—a no-fluff, 8-part podcast series created for creatives who are ready to stop playing small, start making serious money, and finally run a business that works for them. I’m Jaz, your Pricing Queen™, and over the past 15 years, I’ve gone from undercharging and overwhelmed to running a $300K/year solo freelance business with high margins, no team, and zero burnout. In this series, I’ll walk you through the exact shifts that helped me go from stuck at five figures to consistently earning six—all while working less, charging more, and only saying yes to clients who light me up. My scratch-made recipes will teach you: How to shift from “just another freelancer” to confident creative business owner Why being a generalist is hurting your income (and what to do instead) How to price for value, not time, and finally break up with hourly rates What it takes to create productized, recurring offers that sell themselves How to stop attracting red-flag clients and start building real partnerships The systems that helped me scale without a team and how you can too And how to get crystal clear on your vision of Future Freelance You Each episode is short, honest, and designed to give you a hit of clarity, strategy, and momentum —fast. This isn’t vague “charge your worth” advice or recycled content from the algorithm. It’s real talk and practical action steps for creatives who are great at what they do but never got taught how to run a business. Before you hit play, download the free companion guide at creativebusinesskitchen.com/6figures to follow along, take notes, and start putting these shifts into action today. If you’ve ever thought, “I didn’t go freelance for this,” this series will show you exactly how to build the freelance business you actually wanted — one that’s profitable, peaceful, and uniquely yours. • Why You're Stuck at 5 Figures Freelancing
    Jun 3 2025

Welcome to the very first episode of Six Figure Freelancer! I’m Jaz—your pricing queen—and I couldn’t be more excited to kick off this bite-sized podcast series for creative freelancers who are ready to finally build the business they actually left their nine-to-five for.

If you’re feeling stuck in that awkward space where you know you’re talented, but your income just isn’t showing it, trust me—you’re not alone. I’ve been there too. For years, I struggled to break through that five-figure ceiling, always hustling, chasing clients, and getting pulled into the chaos of late nights, unpaid invoices, and a calendar that never seemed to let up.

This podcast is all about changing that. I’m here to share the exact shifts that took me from stressful, unpredictable months to running a $300,000-a-year solo freelance business—with high profit margins, no team, and zero burnout. You won’t just get vague advice or “charge your worth” pep talks here—these are real strategies and frameworks I’ve personally tested and refined, both in my own business and with hundreds of creative freelancers I’ve helped since 2021.

In this episode, I start with why so many talented creatives are stuck feeling underpaid and overworked. I’ll show you the biggest traps freelancers fall into and why mastering pricing, packaging, positioning, and client relationships is the real recipe for success. If you’re ready to shift from just another freelancer to a confident creative business owner, you’re in exactly the right place.

Grab the free guide at creativebusinesskitchen.com/6figures to follow along, and get ready to meet your future—one where you’re well-paid, in control, and finally running the business you dreamed of. Let’s get started!

  • Shift 1: From “Just Another Freelancer” to Creative Business Owner
    Jun 3 2025

Welcome back to the Six-Figure Freelancer Recipe! I’m Jaz, your pricing queen, and in this episode, I want to have an honest conversation about the realities of running a creative freelance business—the kind you probably left your nine-to-five for. If you’re anything like me, you might have imagined total freedom and more money, only to find yourself drowning in client work, putting out fires right and left, and still not hitting your income goals.

I get it—because I’ve been there. When I first started freelancing, I let my clients call all the shots. I was constantly on edge, afraid that if I said no to anything, the work would completely dry up. I said yes to every opportunity, worked longer hours, offered more services, and even discounted my rates, hoping something would finally click. Instead, I found myself stuck in a reactive, stressful cycle—measuring my success by how busy I was rather than how intentionally I was running my business.

But here’s the thing I had to learn the hard way: the problem isn’t your skills or your work ethic. The real challenge is shifting out of the employee mindset and fully stepping into your role as CEO of your business. This episode focuses on that shift. I share my personal journey and walk you through some powerful questions to help you do the same—questions that get to the heart of who’s really calling the shots in your business and what decisions you’ve been avoiding.

Take the time to write out your answers to the questions I ask in the free, complementary guide available at creativebusinesskitchen.com/6figures.

It’s time to finally move away from that client-to-client scramble and into the creative business owner role you deserve. Whether you’re struggling with burnout, feeling guilty for wanting more control, or just tired of being busy for the sake of being busy, this episode is for you. So let’s break out of the freelancer trap and start making those boss moves together.
