A brutal Finnish action film set in the Lapland War, packed with practical effects, raw violence, and grindhouse energy. Directed by Jalmari Helander and starring Jorma Tommila, Sisu blends Western influences with high impact Nordic style. In this review I break down the story, performances, production, and why this stripped back revenge tale worked for me. Genre fans will love its grit, its style, and its unapologetic commitment to chaos.📺 ABOUT *LAST NIGHT I WATCHED...*Every Tuesday, I talk about a forgotten, strange, or misunderstood film and look at what I love or hate about it. Think of it as a late-night conversation about the movies we’ve forgotten to love.🧠 SUBSCRIBE for more weekly film deep-dives: [https://www.youtube.com/@LastNightIWatchedFilm]📸 Say hi on Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/ashleyscracemusic/]
