Pat Juckem is the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Washington University of St. Louis. He is one of only a handful of NCAA D3 Head Coaches who have ever won 20 games at 3 different institutions with his exceptional tenures at Coe College (7 years/104 wins), University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (6 years/95 wins/3 NCAA National Tourney Appearances/National Championship Runner-up in 2018), and presently at Wash U (5 seasons/98 wins/3 NCAA National Tourney Appearances).

Vinny Barber is the Head Men's and Women's Wrestling Coach at the University of Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. He's a dynamic coach who just led the Eagles to their first Conference Championship (SLIAC) in school history and leading them to the 2023-24 NCAA National Tournament.

Before taking over the Ozarks program in 2022-23, Coach Barber has a prolific career as a club coach helping 7 wrestlers win individual SEC Championship and guided 8 wrestlers to be honored with SEC All-Academic recognition. Rich Reed is in his 17th Season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at his alma mater, the University of La Verne in Southern California. He has been coaching for 22 years including 5 years at the NCAA D1 level with stops Sacramento State, Northern Colorado, Loyola Marymount and Cal Poly Pomona. He is currently the Co-Chair of the National Association of Basketball Coaches Committee on Academics and one of the truly bright stars in the world of NCAA D3 basketball.

Rich and I spent 3 years together coaching the men and women's basketball teams, respectively, at the University of La Verne where we developed a lifelong bond and brotherhood. He also graced me by writing the College Coach Perspective in Chapter 6 of my book on how to create the right Attack List for college recruits looking to be recruited by the right coaches at the right schools. Ryan Kerrigan was a 4-time NFL All-Pro Player who currently sits #51 on the All-Time Career Sacks list with 95.5. He was named to the 2011 NFL All-Rookie Team and went on to make 4 Pro Bowls. Ryan will begin his 3rd Season as the Assistant Linebackers Coach for the Washington Commanders in the 2024-25 season.

I was excited to talk to Ryan about transitioning from professional player to professional coach, and it was great to hear how much he has learned about himself, the game, and leading those same guys he used to suit up and play with on Sundays for 10-years. Bryan Martin has been the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Coe College for the past 12 years leading the Kohawks to their first National Tournament berth since 1976 in the 2022-23 season. His Kohawks are presently ranked in the Top 25 in the country with a chance to go to the Big Dance in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history!

He's one of the rare coaches who has coached at every level of college basketball from Junior College up to NCAA Division I. He's learned how to run a program the right way making the well-being and academics of his players as his top priorities, and he's proven that you can win and compete at the national level doing it the right way.

Rich Murphy has been the Head Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Redlands for the past 17 years compiling an impressive 264-153 record (as of Jan. 31, 2024) and an even more impressive SCIAC record of 170-70 during his tenure.

His kids play hard, smart and execute about as well as any basketball team can. His team's were always a handful for my La Verne teams from 2010-2013 when we had to coach against each other, and I always remember them being epic battles.

He's one of the smartest basketball coaches you'll find and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. It was a great joy to re-connect with Coach Murphy. He has a fascinating story and background, and I am sure everyone listening will be as inspired as I was. Enjoy!

Pete Sterbick is the Head Football Coach at the Colorado School of Mines, and it was a pleasure watching his team play in the NCAA D2 National Championship game on national TV in mid-December, 2023. I was so impressed I had to call and get him on the podcast. As a local Colorado guy, most people were excited about what Deion Sanders did this year at the University of Colorado, but the best coach in the state, and the one who actually led his team to the National Championship game, is Coach Sterbick.

Coach Sterbick is not only a world class coach and offensive mind, but he is truly a good man and a thoughtful leader of young men. He is another coach who epitomizes what it means to be a significant coach, and the sky is truly the limit for him and his program.

We had a great conversation about recruiting, the NCAA Portal, the present and future of NIL, Coach DeBoer going from NAIA coach to the D1 National Title Game to now the Head Coach of the University of Alabama, and I couldn't waste an opportunity to talk to an offensive guru about Justin Fields and my Chicago Bears! Oliver Wiseman is in his 3rd season as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Benedictine University (IL). He is quickly rebuilding the Eagles program into a Midwest and National powerhouse. Before his tenure at Benedictine, he had an invaluable career as a D2 and D3 assistant (including playing for me and coaching with me!) at Maryville University of St. Louis where he was instrumental as a lead assistant and recruiting coordinator.

Coach Wiseman was kind enough to write the Coach's Perspective to Chapter 7 of my book for me, and he did a wonderful job of talking about the importance of recruits reaching out to college coaches and inviting coaches to recruit them.
