  • DAY 14 DIVINE ENCOUNTER FROM THE RISING SUN | DIVINE HUNGER
    Jan 21 2026
WELCOME TO DAY 14 OF DIVINE HUNGER — 40 DAYS OF DEVOTION, PRAYER, FASTING & MEDITATION.

Today’s focus is Going Deeper—moving from surface-level relationship into intimate friendship with God.

📖 Scripture Focus: John 15:15 — “NO LONGER DO I CALL YOU SERVANTS, FOR A SERVANT DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HIS MASTER IS DOING; BUT I HAVE CALLED YOU FRIENDS, FOR ALL THINGS THAT I HEARD FROM MY FATHER I HAVE MADE KNOWN TO YOU.”

Jesus reveals a profound truth in this passage: servants obey without insight, but friends are trusted with understanding. Friendship with God invites us into His heart, His thoughts, and His purposes. However, this level of relationship requires maturity, faithfulness, and a willingness to go deeper.

    ⚔️ Word Weapons:

Mark 1:35 — “NOW IN THE MORNING, HAVING RISEN A LONG WHILE BEFORE DAYLIGHT, HE WENT OUT AND DEPARTED TO A SOLITARY PLACE; AND THERE HE PRAYED.” Even Jesus withdrew intentionally to spend time alone with the Father. Depth with God is cultivated in separation, silence, and prayer. If the Son of God prioritized private communion, how much more should we?

Luke 5:4–6 — “WHEN HE HAD STOPPED SPEAKING, HE SAID TO SIMON, ‘LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP AND LET DOWN YOUR NETS FOR A CATCH.’ BUT SIMON ANSWERED AND SAID TO HIM, ‘MASTER, WE HAVE TOILED ALL NIGHT AND CAUGHT NOTHING; NEVERTHELESS AT YOUR WORD I WILL LET DOWN THE NET.’ AND WHEN THEY HAD DONE THIS, THEY CAUGHT A GREAT NUMBER OF FISH, AND THEIR NET WAS BREAKING.” Revelation and breakthrough are found in the deep—not in shallow obedience. Peter’s blessing came when he trusted God beyond logic and personal experience. Depth requires effort, obedience, and trust.

Hebrews 6:1 — “THEREFORE, LEAVING THE DISCUSSION OF THE ELEMENTARY PRINCIPLES OF CHRIST, LET US GO ON TO PERFECTION, NOT LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION…” God calls believers to maturity. While foundations are essential, we are not meant to remain there. Spiritual growth demands progression—moving from basic understanding into deeper revelation and application.

How well we manage what God has already entrusted to us determines how much more He will release. Faithfulness with revelation precedes greater revelation. When we apply what we know and share what we have received, God entrusts us with more.

  • WELCOME TO DAY 13 OF DIVINE HUNGER — 40 DAYS OF DEVOTION, PRAYER, FASTING & MEDITATION.
    Jan 20 2026

Today’s focus is Intimacy and Trust—the depth of relationship that grows when faith moves beyond words into wholehearted obedience.

📖 Scripture Focus: James 2:23 — “And the scripture was fulfilled which says, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. And he was called the friend of God.”

    ⚔️ Word Weapons: • Matthew 12:30–31 • James 1:21–25 • Revelation 2:1–5

True intimacy with God is built on trust, and trust is revealed through immediate obedience to His Word. When we act upon what God speaks—without delay, argument, or compromise—we enter a higher realm of faith where our will is fully surrendered to His.

This level of surrender draws us closer to God’s heart and farther away from human reasoning. It is here that faith is strengthened, renewed, and reestablished—not by convenience, but by sacrifice.

Abraham is the perfect illustration of this truth. He walked closely with God, believed Him without reservation, and that faith was counted to him as righteousness. His friendship with God did not begin with perfection, but with a decision to follow God wholeheartedly.

The depth of our trust in God may fluctuate from season to season and from trial to trial. Yet in every circumstance, the righteousness of faith is regenerated when we affirm God’s promises and choose to stand on His Word.

God desires fellowship with us—not religion, not routine, but intimate relationship. It is through consistent communion with Him that our faith is built strong enough to face life’s challenges with unwavering confidence.

We cannot attain higher levels of faith unless we confront situations that require us to trust God completely—just as Abraham did. Every step of obedience deepens our intimacy with Him.

This journey begins with desire. A hunger to know Him more. A longing to please Him. A growing passion for His presence above all else.

God longs to touch our hearts so that Jesus becomes our first love once again. When He holds that place, we will follow Him faithfully and passionately—wherever He leads.

🔥 This devotion is a call to deeper trust, greater intimacy, and restored first love—so we may walk as true friends of God.

📍 Hosted by Shekinah – Kingdom Ready Nation 🙏 Come closer. Come trusting. Come restored in first love.

  • DAY 12 DIVINE ENCOUNTER | FROM THE RISING SUN | DIVINE HUNGER - Are You His Friend?
    Jan 19 2026

Welcome to Day 12 of Divine Hunger — 40 Days of Devotion, Prayer, Fasting & Meditation.

Today’s devotion asks a searching and personal question: Are you truly a friend of Jesus?

📖 Scripture Focus: • John 15:14 — “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.” • Matthew 6:24 — “No one can serve two masters…” • John 14:15–16 — “If you love Me, keep My commandments…”

Many desire to be associated with Christ by name, yet resist being connected to Him in service and obedience. Jesus makes it clear: friendship with Him is not hidden, private, or conditional. He does not seek secret admirers or closet lovers—He requires public ownership of both His name and His agenda, revealed through our lifestyle and daily conduct.

If He is truly your friend: • You will love what He loves • You will despise what He hates • You will obey what He commands

To claim love for Christ while serving competing loyalties is self-deception. There is no middle ground in God. One must choose between earthly attachment and heavenly substance—between mammon and the Master.

Jesus promises that those who keep His commandments will experience ongoing fellowship with the Father and the Son, through the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Friendship with Christ brings intimacy, authority, and responsibility.

If you truly love Him, you will also love: • Your fellow believers • The lost and broken • The souls Christ died to redeem

Such love produces boldness. It moves us to speak, to testify, and to declare the hope that lives within us. If boldness is lacking, Scripture invites us to pray for it—just as the apostles did in Acts 4:29–31.

🔥 This devotion is a call to decision: To live openly for Christ, to obey Him without compromise, and to embrace friendship that transforms both heart and mission.

📍 Hosted by Shekinah – Kingdom Ready Nation 🙏 Come surrendered. Come loyal. Come bold as a friend of Jesus.
