• You're Not Failing. You're Forcing What Doesn't Fit.
    Oct 18 2026

    Description:

What worked for you five years ago might not be what your body needs today. And when the habits you’re trying to build just aren’t sticking, it doesn’t mean you’re failing.

In this episode of She Regulates, Sarah Brooke explores why creating sustainable habits isn’t about forcing yourself to do the same thing harder. It’s about experimenting, making small adjustments, and learning what actually works for the woman you’re becoming.

Drawing from a recent client coaching experience and her own journey navigating chronic health challenges, Sarah connects the dots between nervous system regulation, body awareness, self-talk, nutrition, movement, and the demands of a life that keeps growing.

You’ll discover why a failed attempt isn’t wasted effort, how to stop turning missed goals into another reason to criticize yourself, and why supporting your whole self requires more than focusing on just one piece of the puzzle.

Your body is communicating with you. The question is whether you’re giving yourself the time and space to listen.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why habits that once worked may no longer fit your life.
    • How to experiment with small adjustments instead of starting over.
    • Why perfectionism can turn habit-building into another source of stress.
    • The connection between body awareness, movement, nutrition, and nervous system regulation.
    • How to approach your health with curiosity instead of criticism.

You don’t have to force yourself into a routine that doesn’t fit. Sometimes, you just need to shift things a little and try again.

Welcome to She Regulates — holistic support for women ready to feel better in the lives they’ve worked so hard to build.

  • The Contrast: Why Your Hardest Seasons Make the Good Stuff Glow
    Oct 12 2026

    Episode Description

What if the hardest chapters of your life are the reason you can feel gratitude so deeply now?

Heroes and villains often go through the same pain. What sets them apart is how they process it and the choices they make. The same is true for us.

In this episode, we talk about contrast: we can't fully appreciate the good without having known the bad. Used on purpose, it becomes a tool for gratitude, growth, and discernment, and gratitude becomes a full-body feeling instead of just good manners.

    You'll learn:

    • Why what you focus on grows, and what your attention costs you
    • How to use contrast to feel gratitude in your body
    • How painful experiences can show you what you want and what you won't accept

This isn't about being glad bad things happened. It's about asking what the experience can give you.

Next time you're in the middle of something hard, ask yourself: Where is the contrast? What is this teaching me about who I am and what I want?

I am growing. I am grateful. I carry the lessons and leave behind what no longer serves me.

  • Trusting the Signs When You Can’t See the Way
    Oct 2 2026

What happens when you’ve spent your whole life being the one who figures everything out?

You handle the business. You handle the kids. You solve the problems. You keep moving forward.

But eventually, your nervous system starts asking you to stop carrying everything alone.

In this final episode of the 7-day Energy Center Series, we’re exploring the crown chakra—the energy center associated with connection to something greater than ourselves, spiritual guidance, trust, and surrender.

And we’re bringing it down out of the abstract and into real life.

I’m sharing what has been happening in my own life as I approach the end of a coaching program that has completely changed how I show up in the world. Without my usual external guidance, I’ve found myself feeling scattered, uncertain, and a little on edge.

But then I started noticing the breadcrumbs.

My GPS stopped working—and somehow I kept finding my way home.

A random early-morning urge to scroll TikTok led me to a Harry Potter-themed coffee shop that became an unexpected family adventure.

The things my coach has been saying seem to meet me exactly where I am.

And suddenly, I started seeing the pattern:

Maybe I don’t need to know every step. Maybe I can trust myself to find my way.

We’ll talk about what spiritual connection can look like regardless of your religious beliefs, why having something bigger than yourself to lean into can be supportive for the nervous system, and how the state of your body can affect your ability to hear your own intuition and guidance.

Because when you’re constantly solving the next problem, your body never gets the chance to process what just happened.

And when you’re living in survival mode while trying to manage the dream life you worked so hard to create, your body eventually starts talking.

    The tension.
    The exhaustion.
    The hormonal changes.
    The tight fascia.
    The physical symptoms.

Your body is communicating with you.

The question is: are you creating enough space to listen?

This episode closes out our 7-day journey through the energy centers and brings everything back to the bigger picture:

Your body, your nervous system, your energy, your nourishment, your beliefs, your relationships, and your intuition are not separate systems. They’re connected.

And sometimes, finding your way forward starts with trusting that you don’t have to see the whole road.

  • Learning to Trust Yourself: Intuition
    Oct 1 2026

What if the thing you keep calling anxiety is actually your nervous system trying to predict every possible outcome?

In this episode of She Regulates, we’re continuing our 7-day chakra series with the Third Eye Chakra—but we’re leaving the abstract, mystical conversation behind.

The Third Eye is traditionally associated with intuition, perception, insight, and inner knowing. In this episode, we’re looking at those concepts through the lens of your body, nervous system, emotions, and everyday decision-making.

We’re talking about what happens when your Third Eye feels congested or disconnected from your own inner perception—and how that can show up as constantly second-guessing yourself, ignoring patterns, looking outside yourself for answers, or needing someone else to validate what you already know.

And then there’s the other side: an overactive Third Eye.

If you’re a highly capable, high-functioning woman whose brain never seems to shut off, you may recognize yourself here. Constant analyzing. Reading into conversations. Anticipating what happens next. Running through every possible “what if.” Trying to stay five steps ahead so you can remain in control.

    But is that intuition—or hypervigilance?

In this episode, we explore the difference between fear, anxiety, programmed patterns, and genuine discernment, and why intuition is information—not necessarily an instruction you have to immediately act on.

You’ll also learn how to use your body as part of the discernment process, recognize patterns without becoming consumed by them, and practice listening to those quiet internal “breadcrumbs” that can guide you toward your next step.

Because trusting yourself doesn’t mean throwing logic out the window.

It means learning how to hold logic, wisdom, lived experience, your body, and intuition at the same time.

Your practice today: pause before asking “What should I do?” and instead ask:

    “What do I notice?”

    That shift can change everything.

This is the Third Eye: seeing clearly, perceiving deeply, trusting your inner knowing, and developing the discernment to know the difference between intuition and fear.

Tomorrow, we finish the chakra series with the Crown Chakra—connection, consciousness, spirituality, and your relationship with something greater than yourself.

  • Your Body Remembers What You Were Afraid to Say
    Sep 30 2026

In today’s episode of She Regulates, we’re continuing our 7-day journey through the chakras—but we’re not talking about chakras as some mystical concept disconnected from real life. We’re looking at these energy centers as a way to understand what your body may be communicating to you.

Today, we’re talking about the throat chakra and its connection to communication, truth, expression, authenticity, and the nervous system.

In this episode, we explore how constantly filtering yourself can show up in your body—from jaw and neck tension and tight shoulders to changes in your breathing, headaches, and that familiar feeling of carrying something you haven’t expressed.

We also talk about the importance of noticing patterns instead of immediately assuming every physical symptom has one specific emotional cause. Your body is constantly giving you information. The question is: are you paying attention?

And because authenticity isn’t just something you think about—it’s something your body has to feel safe enough to live—we’ll talk about what it actually means to move through old experiences without constantly reliving them.

Plus, I give you a simple throat-opening somatic practice you can try at home. It may look ridiculous, but I promise… your jaw might thank you. 😂

    Ask yourself:

Where am I not expressing myself?
    Where am I editing myself?
Where am I pretending to be okay?
Where am I saying yes when my entire body is screaming no?
And where have I become someone I don’t even recognize anymore?

    Your body remembers.

    Maybe it’s time to listen.

And tomorrow, we continue the chakra journey with the Third Eye Chakra—intuition, perception, and that knowing you can’t always explain.

  • The Cost of Being the Strong One: Heart Energy
    Sep 29 2026

What if the part of you that says, “I don’t need anybody. I’ll just do it myself,” isn’t independence at all?

    What if it’s protection?

In this episode of She Regulates, we’re moving through the heart energy center and looking beyond the idea of romantic love. The heart holds so much more: connection, trust, vulnerability, grief, compassion, giving, receiving, and the ways we protect ourselves after we’ve been hurt.

We’re talking about what happens when betrayal, rejection, abandonment, emotional neglect, or years of being “the strong one” turn into patterns of hyper-independence, overgiving, rescuing, difficulty receiving, and keeping people at arm’s length.

I share some of my own experiences with rejection, isolation, hyper-independence, and learning that I can protect myself without completely closing myself off.

We also talk about discernment—because opening your heart doesn’t mean giving everyone access to you. You can love someone and still walk away. You can forgive someone and still have boundaries. You can care about someone without taking responsibility for their life.

And most importantly, we explore how these patterns can show up in the body: tightness in the chest, shallow breathing, rounded shoulders, jaw and neck tension, and that familiar feeling of bracing yourself against the world.

This episode includes a simple heart-centered somatic practice to help you notice what happens when you shift from giving to receiving, soften your body, and remind yourself:

I can protect myself without closing myself off.
I can love without abandoning myself.
    I am safe to receive.
I don’t have to carry everything alone.

Your heart doesn’t need to become softer for everyone else.

It may simply be asking you to come back into connection with yourself.
