This week, award-winning Mohawk singer-songwriter Shawnee Kish joins the podcast to talk about the experiences, resilience, and identity that shape her music. She reflects on growing up obsessed with music, embracing her authentic self, and how her Indigenous identity continues to influence her artistry.

We also dive into the stories behind her music, the importance of representation for Indigenous and 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and what it means to use music as a platform for connection, healing, and change. It's an honest conversation about authenticity, purpose, and the power of sharing your voice.
