When was the last time you were genuinely amazed? As kids, we wondered about everything. We asked questions, explored, noticed things adults had stopped noticing. Somewhere along the way, many of us traded wonder for certainty. Golf has a funny way of bringing some of that wonder back. A perfect shot, a ridiculous bounce, a sunrise over the course—you never quite know what’s coming next. And maybe our faith should feel a little more like that. When Paul says, “Be imitators of me,” in 1Corinthians 4:16, that is a bold statement.
But what if somebody actually imitated our lives.

When I was a kid, I wanted to swing like Tiger Woods because I thought looking like him would help me become like him. We do the same thing in life. We imitate people we admire, people we respect, and people who are further down the road than we are.

But that raises a harder question.

Are we living a life worth imitating.

In this episode of Shanktification, we look at humility, pride, selfishness, and apathy, and what it means to follow someone while also becoming someone worth following.
