As a mental health practice grows, maintaining alignment across teams, departments, and leadership can become just as important as increasing revenue or expanding services. In this episode, we sit down with Kim Long to explore the often-overlooked foundations of sustainable growth: a clear mission, well-defined values, and behavioral pillars that guide everyday decisions. Together, we discuss why organizational health matters, how leaders can create alignment as their teams expand, and what happens when culture is left to chance. Our guest, Kim Long, shares practical insights on translating mission and values from words on a page into behaviors that shape hiring, onboarding, leadership, accountability, and team development. Whether you're leading a small group practice or preparing for your next stage of growth, this conversation will help you build a stronger, more cohesive organization—one that can scale successfully without losing the heart of the work that inspired it in the first place.
