It takes a lot of strength to talk openly about such traumatic events in our lives. Sammi allows us into her world at the age of 15, when her older brother died because of a heroin overdose. Sammi takes us in depth to a place of confusion and pain which is intensified five months later when her cousin, the best friend of her brother, dies by suicide. Her mental health suffers and she shares with us the struggles as she faces thoughts of suicide herself.
