The Monks walking for peace to Washington, DC will be holding a meditation on February 10 and 11, 2026. If you feel called, please go and be present—sit with them, hold space for kindness, love, and peace.

If you cannot attend, you are still part of this. Gather where you are. Come together in your city, your home, or your quiet space. Light a candle. Sit in stillness. Hold sacred space, knowing that intention travels beyond distance.

We have all felt tired, lonely, unseen, and unappreciated. This is where it begins—by remembering within ourselves that we matter, that we are seen, loved, heard, and that our voice has value. You are allowed to be fully you, exactly as you are.

The Monks walking for peace will have a loving kindness meditation when they arrive in Washington DC so go if you can go to DC or have your own gathering to hold sacred space. I felt inspired to write this today when I heard of the meditation. It is my way of giving back and writing this in this moment of history.

Loving-Kindness Meditation in Tribute to the Monks Walking for Peace

Beloved world,

please slow down with me for a moment.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let the breath come all the way in,

and all the way out.

Somewhere on this Earth,

monks are walking.

Not running from the world.

Not shouting at it.

Walking.

Step after step.

Through cold mornings, aching bodies, blistered feet, hunger, silence.

Through towns that notice and towns that do not.

Through praise and misunderstanding.

Through their own human limits.

They walk anyway.

They walk carrying nothing but mindfulness,

love that refuses to harden,

and peace that has decided to live in a body.

Let that land in you.

They are not walking for peace someday.

They are walking as peace now.

And in doing so, they are telling us something ancient and aching and true:

that peace survives only when someone is willing to embody it.

Their steps say,

“We will not abandon love, even when it costs us comfort.”

Their silence says,

“We trust the Earth to hold us.”

Their presence says,

“You are not too broken to return.”

And beside them walks Aloka.

A dog.

A heart with legs.

A soul that does not ask why, only when do we go again?

Aloka walks with loyalty that does not waver,

with devotion that does not calculate,

with love that simply stays.

In Aloka we remember how love once felt before we learned to doubt it.

Before we learned to leave ourselves.

Before the world taught us to close our hearts.

Feel that.

These monks are not saints floating above us.

They are human beings choosing, again and again,

to stay soft in a world that rewards hardness.

To walk when it would be easier to stop.

To love when it would be easier to numb.

And here is the truth that brings tears to the heart:

They are not doing this instead of us.

They are doing this for us to remember ourselves.

Every step they take whispers,

“You can do this too.”

You can breathe instead of react.

You can choose kind

Monks walk with hearts in hand,

From Texas plains to D.C.’s grace,

A sacred pilgrimage, a healing space.

With their Dog Aloka leading the way, loyal and true,

His love unwavering, through skies so blue,

Aloka's Rest days in the camper, he resists the ease,

Longing to walk, to breathe, to feel the breeze.

Today is going to be my peaceful day,

A mantra of calm, a gentle way,

To anchor the soul, to soften the mind,

Today is going to be my peaceful day.

The head monk, barefoot on the road,

Challenging himself, embracing the ode—

To be fully present, in each step, each breath,

In mindfulness, finding life’s true depth.

Today is going to be my peaceful day,

A whisper of serenity on the way,

In silent prayer, in mindful sway,

Today is going to be my peaceful day.

In Texas, a moment etched in pain,

A brother struck, a sacrifice, a gain—

Losing a leg, yet accepting with grace,

A symbol of courage, a divine embrace.

Their walk sends ripples across the earth,

Transforming energy to planet earth, giving new birth—

A mindful meditation, in motion’s flow,

Buddhist Monks with their loyal dog Aloka walking from Fort Worth Texas to Washington DC to raise awareness of peace,loving kindness, and compassion across America and the world. They started late Oct 2025 and should arrive in mid February 2026 at Washington DC. Aloka the loyal dog has a white heart on its head, how special is that. Hope for the whole world, compassion, peace, loyality and integrity of a beautiful dog named Aloka.

We rise before the daylight breaks,

Dust on our feet, hope in our hands.

Long roads stretch beyond our sight,

Yet kindness shows us where to stand.

Through towns and fields, through joy and pain,

We carry more than what we see—

Every step a quiet vow,

To walk with love, to walk as one.

When the world feels torn apart,

And hearts grow tired, afraid, and weak,

We remember why we walk—

Because peace begins with me.

We walk for peace, step by step,

Through the cold, through tears, through time.

Not to escape this wounded world,

What is your personal Numerology Number for 2026 by Dr Salo Stanley DC.

How to find your personal number.

First just add up your month of birth and day of birth and bring it down to a single number. Example My birthday is May 14 that be 5/14. Add the 5 +1+4= 10 then add 1+0=1 that is my attitute number in numerology. Then add that number 1 to the world number of 2026 which is a 1 (2+0+2+6=10 then 1+0=1) So add your attitude number of 1 plus the world number of 2026 which is a 1. 1 +1 =2 My personal year number is a 2.

Another example if you born 6/2 add it up to single digit 6+2=8 then add the 8 to the world number of 2026 which is a 1 So it would be 8+1=9 then 9 is your personal year number.

So in simple terms add your birth month and birthday bring down to a single digit and then at to the number 1 and you get your personal year number.
