In this episode we had the opportunity to talk with theoretical physicist Sašo Grozdanov. Sašo Grozdanov is a researcher at the University of Ljubljana and at the Higgs Centre for Theoretical Physics of the University of Edinburgh, who works mainly in the field of String Theory. In this talk he gives a general explanation about what String Theory is, its major accomplishments as well as its problematic aspects. He also explains how he uses String Theory, in particular what is known as the AdS/CFT correspondence, to study objects like Black Holes, Quantum Chaos and Plasma Physics.
