She stars in the highly anticipated supernatural horror film What Happened to Doris?, which powerfully reimagines the infamous 1974 Doris Bither case. Playing the role of Kandy—the fierce, loyal ally who refuses to let her friend's terrifying cries for help go unheard—she delivers a standout performance that anchors the movie's themes of female solidarity and belief.

It was an absolute honor, delight, and pleasure to sit down with Candi Marie in this very meaningful and deep interview to get to know her and her role in this film. She explained how stepping into this role where she is not only the catalyst for getting Doris the help she needs, but also the face of an unbelievable true friend who is anchored win real-world trauma.
