Hosts Fitz and Darci tackle listener Arthur Black's question about whether college football Saturday grants immunity from household chores, ultimately recommending a compromise: complete all tasks by 11 AM before games begin at noon. The episode covers major sports stories including Roger Goodell's contract extension and the NFL's international expansion, controversial college football Week 1 matchups with lopsided scores, the LA Clippers' ongoing scandal and Kawhi Leonard's suspension, and the U.S. Women's Basketball team's narrow World Cup victory. The hosts also celebrate American tennis players' success at the U.S. Open and preview their fantasy football draft results, with Fitz's team projected to defeat Darci's squad in their opening matchup despite both receiving "D" grades from Yahoo's draft analyzer.
