If you’re ever in a boring conversation with a Dullard of a certain age, a casual mention of any Three Stooges episode should liven things up. Just pick a scene, or a bit; whether it's as fish mongers (the only occupation they ever attempted that had some semblance of a “business plan” - “Buy a Boat and cut out the Middleman”) Swingin' the Alphabet (“B-A-bay, B-E-bee”) Micro-Phonies (“The Voices of Spring”), or picking their marriage partners from a hat (“I got Florabelle”, “I got Corabelle”, “I got Stetson! Which one is she?”) You could always bring up forgettable movies from the late 50’s like “Sweet and Hot” featuring the equally forgettable Joe Besser’s “sister”, Tiny. Whichever you choose, as they say, “the Bits will just Keep on Coming.” In any case, something tells me it won’t be the last time we go down this road.
As always, there’s a Daily Gripe. A Joke or two as well as our inexhaustible capacity to misremember or just plain forget things we used to know. Yes, we’re Stumped once again @TheDullardsClub
