As You Mic It: In the Spotlight welcomes actor, director, and fight choreographer Geoffrey Kent for a conversation that spans a career built on curiosity, collaboration, and a love of Shakespeare.

Geoffrey reflects on his path from stage combat to acting and directing, sharing how each step naturally led to the next and how those experiences continue to shape his work. Along the way, the conversation explores the energy and trust behind Extreme Shakespeare, where preparation and spontaneity meet in the rehearsal room.

The episode also takes an unexpected detour into the world of Dungeons & Dragons as Geoffrey rolls a character sheet for Coriolanus. After identifying the Roman general's undeniable dump stat, the conversation shifts to alignment and the surprising ways tabletop role-playing mirrors Geoffrey's own artistic journey. It's a playful conversation that circles back to the spirit of Extreme Shakespeare, where imagination, collaboration, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected are all part of the process.
