Harlan and Anna Hubbard were truly an artistic couple who spent their final three-plus decades in a hand-built cabin on the Ohio River, where they lived off the land with no electricity or indoor plumbing . . .and this week, the spotlight belongs to a nonprofit committed to preserving their Trimble County property!! Come along as we meet two board members from Payne Hollow on the Ohio: Dr. David Wicks, and Susan Griffin Ward. Each of them describe their deep attachment to the great outdoors, and give us some insight into the unique talents/lifestyle of Harlan and Anna Hubbard. They also discuss steps that have already been taken to preserve the Hubbards' former dwelling, their vision for Payne Hollow's future, and the various means by which we can support their very worthy cause. Finally, they bring details of an exciting Payne Hollow symposium to be held in October at nearby Hanover College. So don't miss out on our insightful conversation and a captivating history lesson!
