What happens when you dream big enough to jump into adventures that most people would never consider and then learn from what happens along the way?
In this episode of Your History Your Story, our guest is author Barry Walton, an Emmy Award-winning producer and director who has spent more than twenty years creating documentary films. His extensive adventures have taken him throughout the United States and Mexico and onto the open seas where he encountered difficult and sometimes hazardous sailing conditions. Barry’s adventurous spirit also led him to follow his heart and move to Italy where he would begin a new life, despite not being able to speak the language.
Barry will discuss his book “The Unknown Adventurer: A Story of Dreaming Big, Living Big and Learning from Failure” and share with us his experience of chasing dreams, learning from failure and refining those dreams along the way to ultimately discover and experience the things he truly loved and cared about.
