In this episode, we analyze house bill 393 which deals with enacting a surcharge/ehancement of the charge of intoxicated manslaughter. In this law, if the person who was killed under the statue of intoxicated manslaughter has a child under the age of 18 years of age, the defendant will have to pay restitution to the family up intill the child has turned 18th years of age. This law is a one that impact the community greatly. In the state there are thousands of familys impact due to intoxicated manslaughter and this law makes a great step in helping victim's family's.
