Inspired by her augmented reality monument Portal for Tovaangar, Mercedes Dorame converses with her father Robert Dorame, a Tongva mentor, artist, and musician. The two discuss stories of growing up in Los Angeles and what it means to have a future in a city that has worked to erase Tongva culture.
