This week on Long Play Video we're revisiting Paul W.S. Anderson's traumatizing space-horror cult classic, Event Horizon so obviously have invited back our Michael Douglas specialist Kate! Is it Alien meets The Shining in space, an unofficial prequel to The Matrix featuring a young Laurence Fishburne or just a 90-minute cautionary tale about a 49-year-old Sam Neill ripping his own eyes out?
Drinks at the bar range from cozy and comfortable to gross and repellent as we discuss why this 90s sci-fi nightmare holds up, what went missing on the cutting room floor and why admitting to being bad at Latin is important as your crew mates start to die around you.
Join us as Kev tries to get Kate to bad mouth the mashup, criticise Andy's romance scores and advocate for Saw to be added to the list, all of which fail and it's pointed out it's his list and he can do what he wants with it!
Strap in for a journey that isn't quite as hellish as the film we're talking about!
