What are our preconceptions when we open the book of Genesis? how do these preconceptions affect the way we interpret what we are reading, both in Genesis and the rest of the Bible. I remain convinced of the Biblical Creation position - that God made the world in 6 literal 24 periods, and rested for 1 literal 24-hour period, and that all this took place just over 6,000 years ago.
