    I'm making this podcast to discuss a topic that I believe is important but may be controversial: the role of race in therapy. I have clients who specifically request a Black therapist, and I wonder if it would be equally acceptable for a white person to request a white therapist.

    I understand that this is a complex issue, and I don't want to start a hateful conversation. I think it's important to be able to talk about difficult topics without resorting to name-calling or insults. I believe that we can have a productive conversation about this if we are willing to listen to each other and consider different perspectives.
