• Escaping Purgatory With Saint Francis's Help—What?!?!! (306)
    Jan 20 2026

Pope Leo recently announced that beginning January 10th of this year (2026), a Franciscan Year of Jubilee will be observed, celebrating the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis. If Catholics fulfill certain requirements, the promise has been given that they can completely escape the punishment and/or the purging of Purgatory. Is this true or just another false, manmade, non-biblical, religious tradition?

  • DID MARY OR JESUS CRUSH THE SERPENT’S HEAD? (305)
    Jan 14 2026

One Catholic version of the Bible translates Genesis 3:15 with a major spin. The Lord

God prophesies to the serpent, “ “ I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and

thy seed and her seed: SHE SHALL CRUSH THY HEAD.” Consequently, some Catholic

theologians teach the serpent-crushing woman is Mary, the mother of Jesus. Protestant

Bible versions instead render this passage, “HE WILL BRUISE YOUR HEAD”—speaking of

    JESUS. Which is right?

  • The Three Pillars of Catholicism (304)
    Jan 6 2026

The three pillars of Catholicism (also called “The Three Legs”) are Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Magisterium. All three are equally revered by Catholics, and given equal authority, so if something cannot be proven by “Sacred Scripture,” but is part of “Sacred Tradition” and approved by “the Magisterium,” it is established as official dogma. Is there relevance to this point of view, or can it result in a departure from “the faith which was once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3)?

  • Vatican Closes Doors of Deception (303)
    Dec 30 2025

The last of five “sacred doors” in Rome and at the Vatican will be closed on January 6, 2026. Around 30 million Catholics have made a pilgrimage there in 2025, proclaimed by Pope Francis to be a special “year of Jubilee.” By walking through those doors, pilgrims hoped to earn indulgences facilitating an escape from the suffering of Purgatory, either for them or their deceased loved ones. Is this religious tradition a glorious opportunity or spiritual exploitation? Are they doors of blessings or doors of deception?

  • Is Mary the “Perpetual Virgin”? (301)
    Dec 16 2025

According to Catholic doctrine, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a virgin before, during, and after the birth of Jesus—and thus, a virgin eternally. Is this true? Does the Bible verify this concept? Did any respected leaders in the early church promote this idea? So much hinges on these questions being answered correctly.
