  • Javelina DNF, Mental Resilience, and Motivation
    Nov 10 2025

In this episode we dive into the challenges and triumphs of ultra running, beginining with Careth's DNF (DId not finish) story from the resent Javelina Jundred race in Arizona at the end of October. We talk shop, discussing the importance of recognizing warning signs during training and learning when to accept fatigue vs. stay strong. Racing can be an emotional roller coaster that requires mentail resilience, physical strength, confidence, fuel, and a bit of magical fairy dust. Not having one or more of the necessary ingredients can lead to dissapointment.
