The world of work is ever changing. And that time when you’re between jobs is not the time to get complacent. Commit to continuous learning, set aside dedicated time to explore new tools, techniques, and industry trends. This shows initiative and keeps you competitive.

And when it’s time to put together your job application, our guest on the episode, Samuel Sowah, believes that’s the time to really showcase your value add.

If you are a data-analyst, think outside of the text-box and incorporate data visualization. If you are a communicator, you better be telling a story. If you are a marketer, market yourself with the same enthusiasm you would a new product!….you get the point.

Samuel also reminds us that self-compassion is not a luxury during the job hunt – it's vital for maintaining motivation and balance.
