  • Why Do Small Things Feel Like Big Things?"
    Feb 23 2026

Episode 7: "Why Do Small Things Feel Like Big Things?"

In this episode, we look at why certain moments in relationships produce a reaction that feels much bigger than the situation seems to warrant.

A tone of voice, a look, being left on read, or a comment that should not have landed the way it did. When something small sets off a strong reaction, it is rarely just about what just happened. Old pain has a way of attaching itself to present moments, and until we understand that connection, we keep finding ourselves in the same cycle of reacting and wondering why.

We talk about automatic stress responses. That is how your system reflexively responds before you have the opportunity to process it. Your response is real, it is physical, and it is a sign that something needs attention.

I share personal examples from my own journey of learning to recognize when my reactions were coming from old hurt rather than the current moment. Having that awareness changed everything about how I showed up in relationships.

You will receive a tool called Reaction Mapping, which is a practical process for tracing a strong reaction back to its source so you can respond to what is happening rather than what the wound says is happening.

We close with this: understanding your responses gives you back the power to choose how you show up, in every relationship you have.

  • "Baby Steps to Big Breakthroughs"
    Feb 20 2026

In this episode, we talk about how change happens and why small, consistent steps produce more lasting transformation than dramatic overhauls.

There is a lot of pressure to move fast when you want things to be different. When progress feels like it's occurring slowly or you slip into an old pattern, it is easy to interpret that as proof that nothing is working. This episode addresses that directly.

I share a season in my own journey when I was doing the work, then fell back into a defensive pattern during one conversation and felt like all of it had been wasted. What I learned from that moment changed how I approached the process entirely.

We look at how to build momentum that lasts, what to do when you feel like you are starting over, and how to recognize the growth that is already happening. You will receive a tool called the Progress Journal to help you document and celebrate small wins, so they do not go unnoticed.

We close with a reminder that progress is the goal. Every small step moves you forward. You are not where you were. Keep moving.

  • "The Stories We Tell Ourselves"
    Feb 20 2026

Episode 5: "The Stories We Tell Ourselves"

In this episode, we talk about the beliefs you carry about yourself, God, and others and where those beliefs came from.

At the root of every relationship pattern is a story. Some of those stories were formed during painful seasons of life. Some came from words spoken over you. Some came from experiences that left a mark before you even had the language to describe what happened. Whether you are aware of them or not, those stories are shaping how you show up in every relationship you have.

I share a personal example of a story I carried for years that quietly influenced every close relationship in my life. Recognizing it as a story rather than fact was the turning point.

You will work through an exercise called the Story Excavation, where you trace your beliefs back to their source, examine whether they are still serving you, and begin building new narratives grounded in truth. The goal is not to shame yourself for what you have believed. The goal is to see clearly so you can choose differently.

We close with this reminder: just because you have believed something for a long time does not make it true. You have the power to choose which stories get to stay.
