Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.

In this episode, we hear the story of Emmanuel Izuegbunam, Judit Saez Gonzalvez, and Neil Adams.

It is a story of human connection and of overcoming entrenched colonial structures, such as unequal travel rights and friction-filled financial transactions between the Global South and the Global North.

Listen to how qualities and skills like intuition, courage, resilience, and the ability to sit with tension enabled the first physical gathering of Regenerators in West Africa to happen.

Here, in the Oko community of Anambra State, South-East Nigeria, Emmanuel and the Akaama People Empowerment Foundation champion indigenous knowledge and facilitate the ecosystem regeneration of eroded inner and outer landscapes—literally planting seeds of regeneration, leadership education, and community development.

Thank you deeply for sharing this profound conversation on regeneration. 🙏

What does regeneration in practice look like?

What does "regeneration" mean when we move past the buzzword and bring it down to earth? And what is the shared intention of this podcast?

In this first episode, you’ll get to know the team co-creating this podcast in conversation with Laura Storm, founder of the Regenerators Academy and co-author of Regenerative Leadership.

Together, we explore:

• Grounding the term "regeneration": What it really means to adopt a regenerative mindset in our daily lives, communities, and organisations.
• Our origin story: How we all met, the personal pathways that drew us here, and the shared calling behind this podcast.
• Where We’re Headed: What to expect from upcoming episodes as this podcast project comes to life.

Whether you're a seasoned regenerative practitioner or simply curious about a more life-affirming way of living and working – feel warmly invited to get yourself cozy or take a nature walk and join us as we dive into a conversation on regenerative practice.
