  • Exodus 30:11-16 | The Great Equaliser
    Mar 11 2026

In this episode, we look at the unusual "ransom" God required during the census in Exodus 30. We talk about the universal human tendency to try and pay off our spiritual debts through our own effort, and why God insisted that the rich and the poor pay the exact same amount. Ultimately, we see how this Old Testament silver points us to the final, perfect ransom paid by Jesus on the cross.

  • Exodus 30:1–10 | The Sweet Scent of Perfect Intercession
    Mar 10 2026

    Scripture: Exodus 30:1–10

In this episode, we spend time looking at the Altar of Incense and what it teaches us about our prayer lives. So many of us carry guilt about how we pray—our minds wander, our motives are mixed, and our consistency is lacking. The biblical imagery of incense reminds us that our prayers actually need atonement. We dive into the encouraging truth that Jesus serves as our great High Priest, actively taking our frail, distracted prayers, washing them in His grace, and presenting them to the Father as a perfect offering. We discuss how this reality frees us from performance and invites us to approach God with genuine confidence.

  • A Pleasing Aroma of Total Surrender
    Mar 2 2026

In this episode, we examine the burnt offering in the ordination of the priests. Unlike other sacrifices, the entire ram was consumed on the altar, symbolizing complete and total consecration to God. We discuss how difficult this is for us; we naturally want to compartmentalize our lives, giving God our Sundays while keeping control of our private worlds. Join us as we look at how Jesus Christ serves as our true Burnt Offering. He gave Himself wholly and completely to the Father’s will, becoming a “pleasing aroma” on our behalf. We explore how Christ’s perfect surrender frees us from performance and invites us to joyfully yield our entire lives to Him.

  • A Never Ending Lamp
    Feb 19 2026

In this episode, we look at the final verses of Exodus 27 to understand why God required "pure beaten olive oil" for the Tabernacle lamps. We explore the spiritual reality that the light of our faith requires a daily, "continual supply" of God's grace and how the "crushing" moments of life are often what God uses to produce the oil of the Spirit within us.

  • Who invited you?
    Feb 18 2026

In this episode, we explore the outer courtyard of the Tabernacle in Exodus 27:9-19. We discuss the significance of the "linen boundary" and why the massive, twenty-cubit gate serves as a powerful symbol of the Gospel—proving that while God is holy and separate, His invitation is wide enough for anyone willing to enter through the way He has provided.
