When my mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, I was living in a garage apartment, working as a server, and barely scraping by. I faced an impossible choice between poverty and being present for my mother’s final weeks. This is the story of how a friend’s generosity saved us from homelessness and gave me the greatest gift of all: the chance to say goodbye.
We discuss the harsh realities of the "working poor," the weight of anticipating grief, and how God uses the people around us to provide stability when our world is falling apart. Join me as we explore how even in our darkest moments of loss, we are being guided from tears toward Theosis.
