  • You're Not Broken. You're Just Tired of Abandoning Yourself.
    Oct 10 2026

What happens when you've become so good at taking care of everyone else that you no longer know how to take care of yourself?

You're showing up for your children, your partner, your career, your friendships, and all the responsibilities that come with being a woman who seemingly has it all together. You're getting shit done. You're pushing through. You're functioning.

But somewhere along the way, you've stopped asking yourself one incredibly important question: What do I need?

In this episode of Reclaiming Your Light, I'm sharing a deeply personal conversation I had with my dear friend Michelle Wright, host of From Divorce to Divinely Designed. And we're going into some of the very experiences that have shaped not only the woman I am today, but the work I feel so deeply called to share with other women.

I open up about my 33-year journey with eating disorders and body dysmorphia, the moment I looked at my three daughters and knew I didn't want to pass those patterns down to them, and how discovering circular connected breathwork completely changed my relationship with my body.

But this conversation goes so much deeper than my story.

We're talking about the generational patterns we unknowingly carry, the identities we create to feel safe, the pressure to be everything for everyone, and why healing isn't simply about changing the way you think. It's about learning to feel safe enough in your body to listen to what she's been trying to tell you all along.

We explore nervous system regulation, somatic healing, motherhood, perfectionism, self-compassion, and the importance of those seemingly insignificant moments when you choose yourself, even if you only have 30 seconds.

And perhaps one of my favorite parts of this conversation is our discussion about what healing actually looks like.

Because healing doesn't mean you'll never get triggered again. It doesn't mean you'll never lose your patience with your children, feel overwhelmed, question yourself, or fall back into an old pattern.

It means learning how to meet yourself differently when those moments happen.

With curiosity instead of criticism. Compassion instead of shame. And a willingness to listen rather than immediately trying to fix yourself.

If you've been feeling exhausted from holding everything together, disconnected from your body, or wondering whether it's even possible to change patterns you've carried for decades, this conversation is for you.

You don't need to become someone new to reclaim your light.

You deserve to feel safe enough to be who you've always been underneath the expectations, conditioning, and survival patterns.

And that woman? She's still there.

  • Stop Asking the Past for Directions | October Collective Reading
    Oct 4 2026

What if the detour isn’t asking you to turn around?

When I sat down to connect with the energy of October, one word immediately dropped in: Drive.

Then I saw a windshield. A rearview mirror. An open road stretching ahead of me.

And the message was clear: You can look back without going back.

In this month’s collective reading, we’re exploring what it means to honor where you’ve been without allowing your past to keep deciding where you’re allowed to go.

Spirit brought through two songs that became powerful pieces of this message—Deftones’ Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) and Foo Fighters’ Walk. One carried the energy of departure. The other, learning how to walk again after you’ve left behind what was familiar.

We talk so much about letting go…but what happens after you let go? Who are you when the old patterns, identities, relationships, coping mechanisms, and ways of surviving are no longer running the show?

Maybe you wobble. Maybe you make the “wrong” turn. Maybe you hit traffic, encounter a detour, or need to pull over and rest. None of that means you’re going backward.

You’re learning how to move forward as the person you’re becoming.

The cards deepen this message with surrender, creativity, trust, fear, nature, inner knowing, and the new growth that becomes possible when we finally create space for something different.

So as you listen, I invite you to ask yourself: Where am I still staring into the rearview mirror? And what is waiting for me through the windshield?

You don’t need the entire map. You don’t need to know exactly where the road leads. You just need enough trust to take the next step. You don’t have to erase your past to move beyond it.

You just have to stop asking it for directions.

  • This Is a Lot: Coming Home to Yourself in the Middle of Overwhelm
    Sep 25 2026

What happens when you’re the person who teaches nervous system regulation and your own nervous system feels completely unhinged?

I’m not recording this episode from the other side of the lesson. I’m right in the messy middle of it.

Less than a month into the school year, I’m working full-time as a speech-language pathologist, raising four kids with what feels like an extracurricular activity every day, showing up as a wife, volunteering with hospice, building my business, creating this podcast, supporting clients—and trying to remember that I’m a human being inside of all of those roles too.

And lately? My body has been getting louder.

I almost cried at work at least five times the day I recorded this episode. Last week, I ignored what my body was asking for, stayed up until 2:30 a.m., slept for three hours, and have felt like I’ve been crawling out of a hole ever since.

The irony isn’t lost on me. I know the tools. I teach the tools. But maybe the lesson Source, God, the Light is offering me right now isn’t to learn another tool.

Maybe it’s asking: Will you actually use what you know when life gets hard?

In this raw, real-time episode, I’m letting you see me in the experiment—the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything I’m still figuring out. We talk about capacity, motherhood, burnout, my 1/3 Human Design profile, The Weekly Exhale I started for my coworkers (and realized I desperately need too), and what “coming home to yourself” actually looks like when you only have 30 seconds.

I also share a few simple practices I’m using right now to find my way back to my body without turning regulation into another thing on my to-do list.

And throughout the episode, I invite you to sit with some questions of your own:

Where are you overriding yourself right now?

Where has your body been whispering something you keep dismissing?

What if the goal isn’t to never become overwhelmed—but to notice sooner when you do?

    And most importantly:

What is your body asking for that you’ve been too busy to hear?

You don’t have to have it all figured out to come back to yourself. You notice. You listen. You return. Again and again.
