Season 4: Episode 7: Resident Evil (2026) ft: Colin Enquist

In this episode Andrew and Brennan are joined by friend of the show Colin Enquist to talk about a movie they happen to have randomly seen, the Zach Cregger directed, 2026 Resident Evil adaptation! IT’S A RANDOM CINEMA NEW RELEASE REVIEW YA’LL!! cues party horns

Andrew, Brennan and Colin share their thoughts on Resident Evil as a franchise while also talking about things they loved and hated about this current reboot. The general consensus is that up until Umbrella and Racoon City enter the picture, it’s a solid horror movie that quickly becomes a horror comedy. Also how Zach Cregger knows how to light a scene and how you should never kill a dog… unless it’s also a monster!

Season 4: Episode 6: Prey (2022)

This episode we’re talking about the 2022 franchise reboot, Prey. This is the third horror movie we have drawn in a row! This is also, sadly, kind of a gush piece/ramble but gosh we cover a lot.

Andrew and Brennan spend most of the episode talking about the Predator franchise as a whole, it’s Disneyfication and whether or not Alien vs Predator is canon. Andrew also FINALLY gets to talk about History and how this movie shows how adaptation and cunning is really how you beat a Predator.

Season 4: Episode 5: Land of the Dead (2005)

Brennan and Andrew are back again and this time they’re talking about the zombie classic, Land of the Dead. Directed by the legendary George Romero, the god father of zombies, it’s a fantastic zombie movie. This episode is kind of a gush piece.

Brennan and Andrew talk about the importance of Romero and the Romero zombie on pop culture as a whole, and the things it impacted. We also discuss how this is a TERRIBLE example of how to set up a community, but to be fair it’s a world where people are complacent with the zombie Stenches. This movie also features some amazing performances from John Leguizamo and Dennis Hopper, as well as some fantastic Romero heroes. But honestly… Foxy all the way!

Next time we keep it in the horror realm again when we talk about Prey (2022)!
