  • Anti-Social Studies: The Fun History Class You Never Had
    Sep 29 2026

I hated history. I thought it was boring and I don't remember a lot from it. But now I wish I remembered more so I could make my own connections to what the heck is going on in the world.

Enter Emily Glankler from Anti-Social Studies. Emily is an educator on a mission to make history fun, relevant, and actually useful. We've been watching her content and taking her classes as a family for a while now and have learned so much together. She puts today's events into historical context that makes sense.

Learn more about Emily's offerings at antisocialstudies.org and follow her on Instagram @antisocstudies.

Don't forget to check out my Soulcial Studies program for elementary schoolers. Learn history through stories, hands-on activities, and real-world community service projects delivered through the KIND Method (Know-Inquire-Noodle-Do!).

The first two full SOULcial Studies units are out now.

  • 69. Teaching Kids to Listen to Their Body with Kerry Miller, RD.
    Sep 14 2026

Every day we are thinking about food, what to feed our kids, how much they are or aren't eating, if they have good habits, etc. It gets noisy in our brain, and we wonder if we are doing enough.

Kerry Miller is a Registered Dietician, and she is here to help calm the noise. Her debut picture book, Violet Learns to Pause, is a must add to your collection. She explores the concepts of teaching kids to slow down, listen to what their body is telling them, and trust those signals. This is the first in a whole series and you can purchase it now on Amazon.

  • 68. The Kindness Rebellion Begins at Home.
    Jan 21 2026

If things feel hard right now, you’re not alone.

In this solo episode, I’m sharing space with you — offering support, community, and a reminder that you’re not failing. We begin with a MOMtra for the days that feel heavy, followed by a poem I wrote called I Raised You Kind — a gentle invitation to choose connection, intention, and courage in a world that feels harsh.

This episode is for the moms who are tired, doing their best, and showing up anyway. Come as you are. You’re belong here.
