The BarcaLounger Ltd. duo reviews the Apple TV+ original series ROAR, created by the creators and producers of GLOW and Orange is the New Black, as well as chat about the full trailer for The Sandman, the upcoming Netflix series based off the graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, shown at San Diego Comic Con 2022 this past week, and HBO's Westworld season 4's viewership drop off.
ROAR is based on the short story collection by the same name by Cecelia Ahern and the series tells eight separate stories with similar themes. It's a look at the struggles of women using the genre of magical realism to explore difficult yet common domestic and professional situations.
