  • Choosing Wisdom With Your Time | Pastor Bong Baylon

    Choosing Wisdom with Your Time

    Scripture Reference: Ephesians 5:15–16

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

    Explanation:

Time is one of God’s most precious gifts, and wisdom is shown in how it is used. Living wisely means living intentionally. Instead of drifting through our days, Scripture calls us to examine how our time, energy, and attention are being spent—especially in light of eternity.

    Personal Reflection:

When you look at your weekly schedule, what does it reveal about your true priorities? Where are your best hours going?

    Personal Application:

Set aside time this week to review your schedule prayerfully. Identify one adjustment you can make so that your time better reflects your commitment to God and His purposes.

  • Formed by What You Repeat | Pastor Bong Baylon

    Formed by What You Repeat

    Scripture Reference: Romans 12:2

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

    Explanation:

Transformation does not happen accidentally. Scripture reminds us that we are either being shaped by the patterns of this world or being transformed by the renewing work of God in our minds. Habits are the grooves that guide our thoughts, decisions, and actions. Over time, what you repeatedly practice quietly becomes who you are becoming.

    Personal Reflection:

What daily routines or automatic behaviors are shaping your thoughts and reactions right now? Are they drawing you closer to God—or subtly pulling you away from Him?

    Personal Application:

Take time today to identify one habit you practice almost automatically. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you whether this habit aligns with God’s will, and commit to one small change that leads toward renewal.

  • Strength That Comes From God | Pastor Bong Baylon
    Jan 22 2026
    Strength That Comes from God

    Scripture:

“If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides…”

    1 Peter 4:11

    Reflection:

Serving God does not mean running on empty. Peter reminds us that when we serve, we do so with God’s strength, not our own. Ministry is not fueled by self-effort but by divine supply.

When we rely on God, service becomes worship. The pressure to perform is replaced with trust, and the glory goes where it belongs—to God alone. Serving then becomes a joy, not a burden.

God is not asking you to do everything. He is inviting you to do something—with His strength.

    Prayer:

Lord, I surrender my fears, my weakness, and my limitations to You. As I serve, supply what I lack so that You may be glorified. Amen.

    Action Step:

Before serving this week, pause and pray: “Lord, I depend on Your strength, not mine.”
