What a fantastic day, actually, that was a good weekend, wasn't it?

As you can imagine, there's a lot of giddiness to go around. Our review of events at Celtic Park takes up the first bit of the pod and we have a right good laugh at 'thaym', their manager, their captain and their fans

Then we move on to the carnage that followed in the pub afterwards, and there's a gig review from Chris and Paul and a frankly incredible choice of post-pub/pre-gig scran by our man in the West

A preview of Wednesday's game follows before the host tells of another shocking confession following hard on the heels of "Tennis Clubgate"

Finally, there was a two-horse race for RGC this week, but ultimately a man who has given Celtic fans so much joy over the years who nicks it.

Incidentally, if you want to enjoy some flute music in Ayrshire here's the link to the festival we discussed

That was the weekend that was...

Our men in the East and West were both at Easter Road on Sunday and we get their views on a game that wasn't short of incidents. A game that we should have won, easing up, ended up in a nervy last ten. It's as if Celtic have forgotten they are based in the heart disease capital of Europe.

We look forward to the Derby on Sunday and have a right good laugh at events at Tynecastle on Monday evening.

There are a few tennis puns and some chat about the POTY awards too.

In the week that ST renewals came out, we had a chat about the Collective's suggestion that fans wait until the last day before renewing. That leads into a discussion about the potential relocation of The Bhoys. Spoiler alert- We think the club have made a rip-roaring c**t of it.

As always, we are so grateful to each and every one of you who listen to the pod.

Hopefully next week's episode will be a real gidfest after positive results at Fir Park on Saturday and Celtic Park on Sunday

    Apr 27 2026

As you can imagine, there is cheeriness by the bucketload in this week's episode. We came within a bawhair of the perfect footballing weekend.

An unconvincing convincing 3-1 win for Celtic, a hilarious win for Well and were it not for Hibs doing what Hibs do, we could have been in the box seat for the run-in.

We look forward to next week, and arguably, by the time we record the next episode, we should have a much clearer picture of who is likely to win the league.

In other news, the new contracts for Scales and McCowan get discussed, a Godfather disowns his Godson, and we make a plea for support for the pod's furry friend, who is doing a charity walk next week.

  • A bawhair from disaster...
    Apr 21 2026

You’d think a six-two victory in a semi-final against Premiership opposition would be a cue for an upbeat and giddy podcast.

Well, no, it wasn’t. Podcast big boss and head honcho Paul is in Spain, leaving his two underlings to hold the fort. Davie Farrell steps in and, unusually, he gets to talk about a game we actually won. However, it has to be said, he isn’t entirely positive about Sunday’s performance. Without it being a spoiler, Davie has a fairly revolutionary idea that we should start the game with our best players on the park.

We look forward to Falkirk on Saturday and have our say on whether we think we can win the league.

The RGC this week is one of friends from Govan who inadvertently gave a bunch of Celtic fans a great day out at Hampden.

As always, we appreciate all your kind words and support but please spread the word to any grumpy Tims that you know

  • Two good guys and a w*nk...
    Apr 13 2026

There was a full turn out of the podcast team at Saturday's game, so Chris has taken over hosting for this week's episode.

We look back at Saturday's game and the post-game sesh before looking forward to Sunday's semi. Despite the win the mood in the camp isn't particularly cheery. We take the opportunity to look at each department of the team and in truth there's not a lot of positivity in that regard either.

We hold our own POTY award and goal of the season and it's slim pickings and no mistake.

There's a quick discussion about the Haughey Monorail proposal, and it's clear that for the two ST holders on the pod, some further details will be required before they are likely to get involved.

A sneaky attempt to ambush the host when we get to the RGC nomination is thwarted by the host throwing himself under the bus.

As always, we are grateful for all the positive feedback (and the less-than-positive feedback, too) feel free to spread the word to the miserable aul' b******ds in your lives

Finally, a win in Dundee means there's a bit of a change in the mood from the last pod after a game up there.

We go over the events of a welcome win at Dens, look forward to Saturday's game, and discuss the potential post-split fixtures, too.

Our man Paul chaired the most recent Collective meeting, so he gives a little update from Thursday's meeting.

Martin's suggestion that he would be open to a longer stay gives us a reason to discuss his staying on for another year. It's fair to say there's not a lot of enthusiasm at that prospect.

Paul and Chris go two-footed on the "media hoor" host who has been hawking his half-arsed opinions on various media outlets this week.

The RGC is unanimous, although had Chris caught events pre-match on camera, he'd have had this week's RGC in the bag as well as £250 from You've Been Framed

  • Nothing if not interesting...
    Mar 30 2026

As it's International week, we took the opportunity to record a special episode with a friend of the pod and all-round GC, Stuart Braithwaite, leader aff from the least shite Glasgow band, Mogwai.

After we establish his RGC and Celtic credentials, we get his view on the current state of affairs at Celtic and his thoughts on the season so far.

Paul gives us a little update ahead of Thursday's collective meeting and we express our frustration at the recent interview by The Anfield Wrap at Lennoxtown of Oxlade-Chamberlain at a time when our own fan media is banned.

Not a good look in our book.

    Thanks as always for listening

It won't surprise you to hear that the mood of this episode is somewhat different from the last two weeks. Chris and Paul get the opportunity to vent about the game, which hopefully they found cathartic.

We asked semi-regular contributor Davie Farrell to join us to give some informed content on Sunday's shambles from a coaching perspective. Spoiler alert - It's a grim listen.

In fact, the whole episode is pretty downbeat, but I can't imagine you would expect anything less.

The struggle to identify an RGC is solved by a great story from Davie about a "special" bus driver.

As always, thank you for your continued support, this week more than most weeks, we appreciate it
