Quiet, Please presents “Kill Me Again,” episode 24 of Quiet, Please, originally broadcast November 17, 1947. Written and directed by Wyllis Cooper, this Mutual Broadcasting System sustaining broadcast stars Ernest Chappell as hard-up writer Joe Davis, with James Monks as the unsettlingly businesslike Mr. Hellman.

When Joe casually offers to sell his soul for a million dollars, Mr. Hellman arrives with cash and a bill of sale in triplicate. What follows is a darkly comic supernatural tale of contracts, technicalities, and the unnerving fine print of an impossible bargain.

Quiet, Please presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
