Pete wants more from his life rather than just living in a sub-zero climate where there is little activity. In fact, he dreams of surfing and spending time with friends in Southern California. But he would surely perish if he ever set foot outside of the frozen South Pole!
Pete is a smarty pants and wants to be an engineer when he grows up. What’s more, he is courageous and stops for nothing. He cannot resist pursuing his dream which means that he must constantly face and resolve moral and ethical issues that stand in his way.
