This episode, Naya, Madina, and Zion sit down for an open and honest conversation about the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk shooting by unpacking our first reactions, what we saw online, and what this moment might mean for U.S. politics.
We talk about the shock and confusion when we first heard the news and the chaos of social media reactions and performative posting that came along with it. Finally we talk about why some memorials and narratives around gun violence feel so complicated.
Before we start, we’d like to give a quick trigger warning for gun violence and a reminder that we don’t condone violence of any kind. We’re not experts, just four college students processing, reflecting, and making sense of it all.
