Nobody has ever been charged in connection with Leigh's disappearance and it remains unsolved.

    In 1999, 18 year old Elaine Nix, was abducted and murdered in Gainesville, Georgia, Elaine was in the process of getting her life back on track after dropping out of high school, she went to a local convenience store to use the payphone to call her boyfriend, and seemingly vanished into thin air. Her family search frantically for her putting up missing persons flyers and organizing their own searches. It was nine days later that everything would change when Elaine‘s body was found at an industrial Park. Let’s talk about the details of the case, what we know about the last time Elaine was alive and well and where the case stands today.
