In this episode of the Ultimate Chemicals Podcast, host David Vannôstran presents a comprehensive guide on chemical flushing for your cooling system that primarily involves two steps. The first step discusses mixing PMF and de-ionized water, shutting down the system, installing a 1-inch ball valve, and running the equipment at full load for an extended period. The second features a power wash technique using the Surge Tank Hose and pressure washer, removal of Flush, addressing any rust presence using an Rust Removal Flush, and refilling the system with de-ionized water until rinsing is complete. Emphasizing the importance of always refilling the system with a 50/50 coolant mix and a best practice of adding 3% CRI, Corrosion Rust Inhibitor, David winds up the procedure with the system's inspection and replacement requirements. Episode resources like PMF, STH, and RRF are linked in the show notes.
