Flying in Chains

Pastor Joshua Kennedy

Take Flight Series

📖 In Philippians 1:12–21, the Apostle Paul writes from prison, yet his words are filled with confidence, joy, and purpose. Rather than focusing on his confinement, Paul celebrates the fact that the Gospel continues to advance. His imprisonment had created opportunities to reach people who otherwise may never have heard about Christ. What appeared to be a limitation became a platform for God's greater purpose.

The world often teaches that freedom is determined by circumstances. Scripture teaches something different. True freedom begins in the heart. While chains may restrict a person's movement, they cannot stop God's calling, silence His truth, or prevent His purposes from being fulfilled. Paul understood that his identity, mission, and joy were rooted in Christ rather than in his circumstances.

Join Pastor Joshua Kennedy as he teaches Flying in Chains. In this message from the Take Flight Series, you will discover that external limitations do not have to determine internal freedom. Whether facing disappointment, suffering, setbacks, unanswered questions, or difficult seasons, God's purpose remains alive and active. The Lord is fully capable of advancing His mission through people who find themselves in hard places.

This message will encourage believers who feel restricted by circumstances beyond their control. What feels like confinement may actually be preparation. What appears to be a setback may become a testimony. God often accomplishes some of His greatest work through people who choose faith over frustration and purpose over discouragement. Like Paul, believers can learn to view every situation through the lens of God's sovereignty and trust that He is still at work.

Harvest Festival Service

📖 In Acts 8:1–8, the early church experienced one of its most difficult seasons. Following intense persecution in Jerusalem, believers were forced to leave their homes and scatter throughout the surrounding regions. What appeared to be a devastating setback became a powerful catalyst for the spread of the Gospel. As believers went everywhere preaching Christ, new communities were reached, lives were transformed, and great joy filled entire cities.

God often works in ways that challenge our understanding. The very circumstances that seem to hinder His plans can become the means through which He accomplishes them. The early church discovered that persecution could not stop God's purpose. Instead, what looked like disruption became divine direction. What felt like loss became Kingdom advancement.

Join Lance and Kim Klepp as they teach When the Church Takes Flight. In this message from the Take Flight Series, you will discover that God can use unexpected changes, disappointments, interruptions, and challenges to move His people into new opportunities for ministry and impact. Sometimes the Lord allows His people to be stretched beyond their comfort zones so they can fulfill assignments they never would have embraced otherwise.

This message will encourage believers to see difficult seasons through the lens of God's sovereignty. What feels like a setback may actually be Kingdom acceleration. What appears to be a closed door may be God's way of opening new ones. The Gospel has always advanced through people who were willing to trust God even when the path ahead was uncertain.

As we celebrate Harvest Festival, we are reminded that God is still gathering people into His Kingdom and using ordinary believers to share the hope of Jesus Christ. The church takes flight when it refuses to allow fear, opposition, or change to stop the mission God has given.

At Praise Tabernacle, we are committed to preaching God's Word faithfully and helping people grow into mature disciples of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, as we discover how God uses every season to advance His Kingdom and fulfill His purposes.

Flight Plans and Fire

Pastor Steve & Lauire Rahter

Take Flight Series

📖 In Acts 2:42–47, the excitement of Pentecost gives way to the everyday life of the early Church. The believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. They shared generously, cared for one another's needs, worshiped together, and boldly witnessed to those around them. As a result, God continued to add to their number daily those who were being saved.

Pentecost was not intended to be a one-time emotional experience. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit produced a transformed community marked by devotion, unity, generosity, and spiritual growth. The same fire that filled believers with power also guided them into a lifestyle of obedience and commitment. The Holy Spirit not only ignites passion, He establishes patterns that help God's people thrive together.

Join Pastor Dave Roberts as he teaches Flight Plans and Fire. In this message from the Take Flight Series, you will discover that Spirit-filled living requires both passion and purpose. Fire without direction quickly burns out, but when the Holy Spirit shapes both our hearts and our habits, believers become effective witnesses for Christ and healthy members of His Church. God desires a people who are devoted to His Word, committed to one another, faithful in prayer, generous in spirit, and active in sharing the Gospel.

This message will challenge believers to examine not only their spiritual passion but also their spiritual practices. The early Church changed the world because they embraced both the power of God and the disciplines that sustained their faith. When God's people follow His plan and walk in His power, extraordinary things happen.

At Praise Tabernacle, we are committed to preaching God's Word faithfully and helping people grow into mature disciples of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, as we discover how Spirit-filled living creates strong believers, healthy churches, and lasting Kingdom impact.
