A proposito di questo titolo
In Week 2 of the Positioned for Purpose series, Pastor Tim continues Paul’s message at the Areopagus in Athens, focusing on Acts of the Apostles 17:26–28. After declaring that God determines the times and places where people live, Paul explains why God has arranged life this way—so that people might seek Him and discover that He is not far from any of us.
In this message, “Closer Than We Think,” we explore the deep human search for meaning, truth, and purpose. Paul describes humanity as people feeling their way through the dark, reaching out for something just beyond their grasp. Yet the remarkable truth of the gospel is that the God people are searching for is already near—closer than they realize.
Through Scripture and everyday illustrations, this message reminds us that God’s presence often surrounds us in ways we overlook. Even in places filled with religious activity, it is possible to miss the reality that God is near and inviting us to truly know Him.
As the series continues, this message prepares us for the next question Paul raises: if God is near, are we ready to let Him reveal who He truly is?
