Julia discusses how she became involved in Thoroughbred racing, the mentors who helped her develop as a trainer, and some of the horses she has worked with throughout her career. She also previews today's one hundred seventy-five thousand dollar Grade three Ontario Derby, where she sends out Brachetto following his runner-up finish in the Prince of Wales Stakes at Fort Erie and an earlier victory in the Grade three Marine Stakes at Woodbine.

Then, five-time Canadian Driver of the Year James MacDonald returns to the show as he continues to lead the country's harness drivers in purse earnings. MacDonald has driven the winners of more than eight point one million dollars this season while recording approximately two hundred seventy-five victories. James reflects on his twenty twenty-six campaign, how his results compare with previous seasons, and the goals he sets for himself each year. He also discusses his family's involvement in Standardbred racing, some of the best horses he has driven, and how he manages the demands of competing throughout the racing season. James also looks ahead to tonight's Breeders Crown eliminations at Eldorado Scioto Downs, where he will drive reigning Horse of the Year Beau Jangles in the three-year-old pacing colt division, with a place in next week's final on the line.

In our feature “In Case You Missed It,” Larry recaps the biggest racing headlines from the past week across North America. Later, he delivers his Ponies Picks of the Day, sponsored by Rocket Ship Racing, highlighting potential wagering opportunities at Woodbine, Woodbine Mohawk Park, and several other tracks racing today. And in this week’s Road Trip, powered by Amplify Logistics and The Cargo Group, Larry heads to Woodbine for the one hundred seventy-five thousand dollar Grade three Ontario Derby, a mile-and-an-eighth test on the Tapeta surface for three-year-olds.
