Welcome to the Kinship!

On this episode we discuss the local holistic fair.

We start off talking about the pet communicator. Time slots were 30 minutes to talk with a woman who could tap into our pets and let us know what they couldn't quite communicate to us. After 2 hours we were all best friends and we learned just enough about each of our animals. Dave still doesn't want to talk about the pee.

We then moved on to the physical therapist who gave us each a full body assessment. Apparently neither of us know how to breathe properly. Who knew that was something that took technique?

Then the conversation moved on to the tongue reader. A specialist in Ayurvedic studies read each of our tongues. Heather has allergies, needs to rest more, and eat warm foods. Whitney needs to let go of pain or continue accumulating ailments, move more, and get morning sun— like a plant. She instructed her to do a ritual— writing down all of her pain and burn it in order to let it go.

Whitney then goes on to explain how the following day she did the ritual and immediately her septic tank flooded her utility room. Whitney continues explaining the aftermath of snaking pipes and ending cycles of learning lessons through survival mode. We discussed the current Venus RX and it's focus on getting us to end old cycles.

The astrology focus then turns the conversation to learning how we communicate with our spirit guides. Whitney explains her 12th house indicates her guides drop insight in flashes and she receives them when she uses her body as a channel performing physical mundane actions. She goes on to talk about recognizing that connection while cleaning her house for the New Moon in Libra on October 10th. She began seeing her home reflect back to her in metaphors the problematic cycles and how they show up in her life.

That concept of the home as a metaphor led to a discussion of Carl Jung's theory of the house— the home reflecting the state of your life and each room representing a different area. We used Heather's dining room as a reflection. The dining room being a place for nourishment, processing daily life, and sharing those joys and struggles with others. Heather's blue walls create a calming energy. Whitney explained how the environment — filled with toys, artwork, books, and instruments—expressed feeding not only food as a form of nourishment, but creativity; deeply reflecting Heather's Piscean energy.

Whitney revealed her staircase held an uneven door, questionably stable knob, and visible patchwork from where her dog at drywall. This revealed a lack of strong boundaries, the choice to adapt to the environment for survival rather than address and fix situations, and the need to keep scars visible to prove them happened and defend her struggles as proof of trying.

The fair was a wealth of information and fun. You can see behind the scenes pictures on our Patreon as well as an episode reference guide with the topics explained in more detail.

Heather wrapped up the episode by telling how she manifested a modeling job for her youngest child— even if he wasn't the direct target. That's the Pisces energy— dreamy, spiritual, but the water energy lacks definition at times. Dave also stopped by a few times to ensure we were not telling his business to the masses. Oops!

We hope you enjoyed this episode. Let us know in the comments what your house says about you?

Until next time,
