  • Love, Money & Reality: Navigating Finances in a Relationship
    Aug 14 2026

Money is one of the most important topics in any relationship, yet it is often the hardest conversation to have.

In this insightful episode, we explore why finances can become a source of tension, misunderstanding, and even conflict between partners. From different spending habits and financial backgrounds to expectations around saving, investing, and lifestyle choices, we uncover the real reasons money often impacts relationships more than people expect.

We also discuss the essential “Money Conversation” every couple should have, including how to talk openly about income, debt, financial goals, responsibilities, and long-term plans without judgement or resentment. Whether you're dating, engaged, married, or building a future together, learning to communicate honestly about money can strengthen trust and create a healthier partnership.

Finally, we look at practical ways to build wealth together, aligning financial goals, creating shared plans, and turning money into a tool for growth rather than division.

Join us for a candid discussion on balancing love, finances, and reality while creating a secure future together.

  • The Equality Illusion: Can We Ever Achieve Social Justice?
    Jul 3 2026

In this episode, we explore the origins of social injustice, examining the historical, economic, political, and psychological forces that have shaped unequal societies across time. We ask whether certain forms of inequality are inevitable and whether existing justifications for social hierarchies still hold up in the modern world.

We then turn our attention to the current state of social justice movements. From civil rights and gender equality to economic justice and identity politics, we discuss the victories, shortcomings, and growing criticisms of contemporary activism. Are today's movements bringing societies closer to justice, or have they become trapped by division, ideology, and performative politics?

Finally, we tackle the biggest question of all: Is a genuinely egalitarian society possible? Can human beings create a world where opportunity, dignity, and fairness are shared by all, or will inequality always emerge in one form or another?

Join us for a thoughtful conversation on fairness, power, equality, and the enduring human pursuit of a more just society. This episode moves beyond slogans and culture wars to examine the deeper questions at the heart of social justice itself.

  • Where are all the Nigerian Talents?
    Jul 3 2026

In this episode, we examine the question raised by Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda at the May 2026 edition of The Platform: Where are all the Nigerian talents?

Tosin argued that the growing appeal of vices such as internet fraud and hook-up culture is contributing to a shortage of talent and skilled young people. While we acknowledge the concerns he raises, we challenge the idea that these are the primary causes of Nigeria's talent problem.

Our argument is different: Nigeria is not suffering from a lack of talented young people. Rather, we are failing to create enough opportunities, institutions, and ecosystems where talent can be discovered, nurtured, and refined.

Too many young Nigerians possess enormous potential but lack access to the mentorship, training, creative spaces, apprenticeships, communities, and long-term development programmes needed to transform that potential into excellence.

We explore the current reality facing ambitious young Nigerians and ask difficult questions about what happens after the headlines, conferences, and motivational speeches.

We also highlight some of the initiatives championed by Moniepoint to engage and empower young people, while arguing that more organisations, governments, and institutions need to move beyond merely discussing the talent gap and begin creating practical, long-term platforms that help young people build valuable skills and meaningful careers.

Join us as we unpack the state of Nigerian talent, challenge popular narratives about its decline, and discuss what it will take to develop the next generation of innovators, builders, creators, and leaders.
