This is a space for fearless political commentary, sharp social critiques, and poetic call-outs that dig beneath the surface of current events, power dynamics, and societal realities. Hosted by filmmaker Bryan Emmanuel, we challenge mainstream narratives, break down complex political landscapes, and offer bold, uncompromised perspectives on the issues that shape our world today.

  • Where Is The National Cake?
    Aug 17 2026

We use the “national cake” as a hard metaphor for how public wealth gets captured by the connected while everyone else is left hungry. We ask why a rich country can feel broke on the street, and what it would take to stop the feast behind closed doors.
    • political waste shown through convoys and fuel while hospitals lack basics
    • the “national cake” as a picture of corruption and exclusion
    • budget padding, ghost workers, and money moved into foreign accounts
    • extreme inequality highlighted by senator pay versus teacher pay
    • “no money” narratives contrasted with elite luxury and overseas schooling
    • voting fatigue, performative patriotism, and the cake shrinking over time
Until we speak, until we rise, until we flip the table, the feast will continue, and the people will keep starving outside their own kitchen.

  • Nigeria’s Oil Trap
    Aug 10 2026

Oil didn’t curse Nigeria; we curse ourselves when we choose barrels over people and call the fallout destiny. We track how oil wealth turns into pollution, scarcity, and a system that rewards theft while communities drown in the costs.
    • oil on every regime’s hands since independence
    • “black gold” as a turning point toward greed and corruption
    • Niger Delta environmental damage hitting fishermen, farmers, and children
    • Abuja as a shrine of oil wealth while oil communities drink poisoned rain
    • broken promises on roads, refineries, and reliable power
    • the paradox of owning oil while begging for water and fuel
    • subsidy fraud, scarcity, and fake reforms as features of the system
    • import dependence and the refusal to build refineries creating room to steal
    • corruption above, complicity below, and a country’s soul caught in between
