Join Forrest and Eli for an hour as they dissect the trend that is Inktober and many of its relative drawing challenges. They go over all the basics of how it works, pens, papers, stationery, etc., and what it's like to successfully complete 31 days straight of intensive illustration. As always the conversation diverts and we hit the fascinating movement of Midjourney. Eli shares his recent experience with it and explains why traditional artists ought to keep up to speed with digital art trends and developments for new found sources of inspiration. The Arron Hour
    Apr 11 2022

The Aussies outnumber the American 2 to 1 in this episode, so it's a fair fight at last. Today your hosts are joined by Arron Floyd, a psychology/philosophy lecturer and writer. We discuss a litany of topics such as neurons that aren't in your brain, the use of horror in fiction, religious beginnings, nursery rhymes, as well as many fine readings from Arron's own work (in which he informs us on whether or not the greek god Poseidon can swim).
