A proposito di questo titolo

The final injury report is in, and the Carolina Panthers will head into Lambeau Field short-handed. Jaelan Phillips (hamstring), left guard Damien Lewis (knee), cornerback Akayleb Evans (triceps/knee) and backup guard Torricelli Simpkins III (ankle) are all ruled out for Thursday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers, and defensive tackle Bobby Brown III is questionable. That's three starters gone on a short week for a team sitting at 3-3 and still in first place in the NFC South.

On today's TGOR Podcast, we break it all down, Panthers only, fan first.

Segment 1: Four ruled out. We walk through both final injury reports. The Panthers are expected to elevate cornerback Marco Wilson and guard/tackle Jake Curhan from the practice squad, and Green Bay is without linebacker Zaire Franklin, center Sean Rhyan and right guard Travis Glover, with Matthew Golden and three defensive linemen questionable.

Segment 2: The patchwork line. Carolina has just seven healthy offensive linemen on the 53-man roster. Who plays left guard with Damien Lewis out, Corey Bullock or Jake Curhan? Rookie Monroe Freeling steps back in at right tackle with Taylor Moton on IR. The good news: no Micah Parsons for Green Bay.

Segment 3: The pass rush plan. Life without Jaelan Phillips means Patrick Jones II, Princely Umanmielen, Trevis Gipson and newly promoted Nick Hampton have to get home against a Packers line that's missing its starting center and right guard.

Segment 4: Nobody's picking us. Five national experts, zero Panthers picks. We look at the case against Carolina (27.7 points per game allowed, the league's worst run defense) and the case for it: last year's win at Lambeau, holding Josh Jacobs to 87 yards, and an 8-3 record coming off a loss since the start of 2025.

Segment 5: Tetairoa vs. Green Bay. TMac leads Carolina with 36 catches for 511 yards and a 23.2% target share. Green Bay's pass defense ranks 9th, but seven different players have caught a touchdown against it.

Segment 6: NFC South watch. Atlanta visits Tampa Bay on Sunday while New Orleans is on bye. A Panthers win keeps Carolina in first no matter what. A loss plus a Falcons win hands Atlanta the division lead.

Your turn: every expert picked Green Bay. Do the short-handed Panthers make them pay Thursday night? Drop your prediction in the comments.
