  • AEW Collision Matches, Preview for Saturday, January 17
    Jan 17 2026
AEW Maximum Carnage continues tonight with Collision at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on HBO Max, back in Phoenix, Arizona – and if the first half of Maximum Carnage on this week’s Dynamite was any indication, you won’t want to miss what we have in store!

“Hangman” Adam Page promised to take everything from The Opps, so tonight, he’ll team with JetSpeed to challenge Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata for the AEW World Trios Titles.

Anthony Bowens and “Jungle” Jack Perry have both had their recent issues with The Demand, but this week, they’ll be opponents vying for a future shot at Ricochet’s AEW National Title.

The Don Callis Family has a very busy night, as “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher returns to team with El Clon and “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander to face Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin and Darius Martin of SkyFlight in a Trios Match. And Andrade El Ídolo will have his first match since joining the Family when he faces Angelico.

Plus, Marina Shafir takes on Zayda Steel, Eddie Kingston and Ortiz square off with Grizzled Young Vets, Zack Gibson and James Drake, Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford will be in action, and we’ll hear from AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR and Big Stoke.

All that and more will go down tonight in Phoenix! Here’s your complete AEW Collision Maximum Carnage preview for January 17, 2026.

  • Mercedes Moné is taking a break from wrestling
    Jan 17 2026
Mercedes Moné has pressed pause on her in-ring run with All Elite Wrestling, announcing an open-ended hiatus during a recent episode of AEW Collision. The decision follows a rough stretch for one of the most decorated names in modern wrestling, marked by high-profile losses and a very public fall from the top of the women’s division.

  • “The Problem” Marina Shafir vs. Zayda Steel
    Jan 17 2026
Speaking of the group, SkyFlight recently added Zayda Steel to their ranks, and she wasted no time stepping up to Marina Shafir during last week’s Trios Match between the Death Riders and SkyFlight. Unfortunately for Steel, she bit off perhaps more than she could chew when she ate a boot from Shafir and turned right into a Liger Bomb from “The Megasus” Megan Bayne. Steel will get a chance at revenge when she goes one-on-one with Shafir tonight!
